Hi! I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer with over 9+ years of experience building websites and apps that are fast, easy to use, and look great. I've worked closely with teams to build useful products, lead projects, and help other developers grow—especially during my time at Flip, where I moved from coding to managing frontend teams.

Right now, I spend most of my time working with tools like Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS to build and maintain several web apps. I also help out on the backend with NestJS when needed. I enjoy creating software that not only works well but also feels good to use.

I've developed and maintained five different frontend applications, each tailored to distinct user personas and business needs. Working with technologies like Next.js, TypeScript, CSS, and Tailwind CSS, I focused on creating robust, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces.

Most of my work has been within a monorepo setup, which helped streamline code sharing and collaboration across projects. I've also contributed to backend development using NestJS, ensuring that the frontend and backend work seamlessly together to deliver smooth, high-performing web experiences.

I led a team of 6 engineers (covering backend, frontend, and test engineers) focused on building a strong, high-performing team. I also supported 2 other Engineering Managers in the same business group, offering coaching and keeping an eye on their team's overall direction.

I was responsible for planning and delivering technical projects, making sure we hit over 75% of our sprint goals. I worked closely with leaders across the company, including CTO, VP of Engineering, other managers, tech leads, and product teams, to keep everyone aligned. I also gave regular feedback and support to help engineers grow and improve in their roles.

Lead Frontend Engineer at Flip, Jakarta

I guided 4 frontend developers across squads and supervising three projects. I kickstarted the main web app for Big Flip (Flip for Business), the business app, which later became the company's top revenue driver.

I introduced unit testing using Jest and React Testing Library, set up and maintained our internal UI kit with React and Styled Components, and launched a Next.js + TypeScript project for user docs—Flip's first project using TypeScript. I also helped define coding standards and best practices for the frontend team, and regularly worked with the CTO and other leaders to align our goals and direction.

I built and maintained two micro-frontend projects using Vue.js. One for international shipping and another for internal dashboards. I also helped maintain the company's shared UI kit that is used across all frontend teams.

I was also trusted to interview frontend developer candidates. On the side, I created a helpful internal Telegram bot using Node.js, which supported day-to-day tasks like tracking absences, sending meeting reminders, checking staging status, and even prayer time reminders.
